1. Facing each other or turning to face the audience will improve the video of the vows, the ring exchange, the lighting of the unity candle, and any other events during the ceremony.
2. Let your photographer know that you expect them to work with us, the videographers, and coordinate their shots and movements so that they do not block the camera's view of the bride and groom.
3. The groom should wear a wireless microphone and not fiddle with the mic setup or surrounding clothing, to insure best audio quality.
4. Try not to look or react to the presence of the camera. Unless specifically asked to do something, you should ignore and act as if the camera is not there.
5. The video will look much better if the lights at the ceremony and reception aren't turned down too low.
6. Outdoor weddings with a sunset behind the bride and groom will cause the video to be dark.
7. Let your DJ/MC and/or coordinator know that they shouldn't start or announce anything during the reception without the presence of the videographer or photographer.
8. Eating generally does not make good video. Only wide shots will be taken during dinner.
